Design Notes:     We have custom designed displays in the showroom which utilize some of our more popular components. One of these component families is our small 1/2" x 1/4" bar stock scrolls. This round wall display designed by Fierro Metalsmith is made with a combination of these small scrolls.

Many people ask how to go about getting their ideas built. There are several basic steps to creating a custom wrought iron piece:

  1. Determine the size of the opening
  2. Decide on the frame size and type. We chose 1" Hammered Tube
  3. Choose a centerpiece. Our centerpiece is Rosette IR24B1
  4. Outline the frame to give dimensions which need to be filled in. Fill in the frame until the desired design is created.
  5. Contact a fabricator to get your personally designed Wrought Iron work of art created. Metal Amore' has a list of qualified fabricators in the greater San Diego area to help you achieve your goal!

Did you Know?    Nonferrous metals such as aluminum and stainless steel do not rust but they do oxidize. For most common grades of aluminum and stainless, these metals will oxidize badly if not protected by a paint or powder coating even when exposed to mild weather and environmental conditions such as salt air.
