Cast panels such as these have many decorative uses - from security doors, to adding decorative scrollwork on gates and railings. Metal Amore is now stocking a variety of these panels in Cast Steel and Aluminum. The Aluminum panels come with steel weld tabs imbedded so they can be welded into a steel gate. Using the Aluminum panels makes the project lighter without taking away from the design and aluminum holds up better in the ocean air we enjoy in sunny San Diego County.

Cast Panels come in a variety of designs. Metal Amore is currently stocking Vineyard panels, Oak panels and Bird of Paradise panels to name a few. Other designs available include Wisteria, Sunflowers, Geometric Modern, Pine Cone and Rose. If there is a particular cast panel design you are searching for we do not carry, please let us know and we will try to stock it for you.

Notes:

Unless you are a metal worker, you are probably asking what is the difference in these cast panels and wrought iron?

Cast is metalwork produced by melting metal pieces in furnaces and then the hot metal is poured into molds. With the use of molds more detail is produced with a minimum of cost.

Wrought Iron is metal in the form of bar stock, plate or sheet which is then heated and forged or worked into shape. This work is often performed by hand, however with modern technology the use of machines for the continuous repetition is now used.
